Kaemon Dubeau

Kaemon Dubeau - Racer

Kaemon Dubeau was born in North Bay Ontario. He has Cerebral Palsy a physical disability that affects his muscles, walking gait and balance. At the age of 4 Kaemon was inspired by his parents to discover disabled skiing and was taught through the Nipissing Association for Disabled Youth Ski Program in North Bay.

Kaemon was introduced to the Ontario Disabled Racing Team (ODART) and raced for the first time when he was 13 years old at the 2006 Ontario Paralympic Winter Games. He now continues to train with ODART and has since progressed positively in racing and is competing in several events yearly gaining and growing in confidence and skill. To gain this experience Kaemon travels to train and race at different ski resorts throughout Ontario, Quebec and out west.

Kaemon is a student at St. Joseph Scollard Hall where he trains and races with the Scollard Hall Alpine Ski Team. Kaemon also plays Sledge hockey on the North Bay Ice Breakers and competes in tournaments across Ontario.

ODART has helped Kaemon expand his knowledge of how to become a better racer and improve his overall skills in skiing. Kaemon is inspired to become better in all aspects of skiing and racing and is a determined athlete who strives for success but loves to have fun during every event and experience.
