Gwen Binsfeld – Blind Racer Guide
Gwen Binsfeld
has been skiing since childhood and has was
first certified as an instuctor in the 70's.
Early in the 90's Gwen began teaching special needs children with Track 3
and went on to teach the advanced program in 98 and continues to do this
on Saturdays.
Gwen is a certified Special Olympics Coach and works with the Devil's
Glen team on Sundays.
This year Gwen joined the ODART team to assist as a trainer and coach
while learning to guide for blind racers.
Successful in these goals, due to her boundless energy and
enthusiasm, she has been promoted from "racer chaser" to racing
guide for the president, David Brown..
